Do angels have needs, d’you reckon?
blimey… that’s messed with my head! off to the offy to get some baccy… will think on it.
Well, with the exception of the ould satan fella, they seem very obedient. I wondered if they were hard-wired for obedience or if they had there own consciousness.
their, not there. It seems to be our ‘needs’ (wants?) that get us into trouble most of the time.
my thoughts on journeying to the offy only led me to think i had no way of knowing. it’s intriguing though. certainly our relationship with god seems to be entirely different in nature. however, if people can act as angels (is this possible) we can presume that they are not ‘hard wired’… and if the story of satan falling is literally true then i guess angels are able to be disobedient. you’re right, it is our perceived needs (wants) that seem to most often draw us away from god… i guess that could be called ‘selfishness’… it’s an intriguing question… i wonder what’s out on the internet about this. when i get a bit of time i may well do a search and see what the scholars are saying… they’re bound to be saying something.
