thus saith the mouthpiece of the Lord… please hang up and try again
oh yes indeed, yet another venue in which the ‘strong’ exploit the weak. genius.
mr potato head felt the black hole looked more impressive than the smile, though kept the smile handy, for the final blessing.
I don’t know about you, but I always find that wondering what God might be saying is the place where I get to hear what he is saying to me.
He’s saying, ‘little red riding hood, don’t judge me for having sticky-out ears,’ – (all the better to hear you with)
hi caroline… i think i want to see what he’s up to and join in… but i find his voice illusive… my head’s full of noise most of the time!
Ahh, Jon, the noise… and the bigges problem is…
that so much of it sounds goddish like
one guide that I’m finding through it all is “who will get noticed and praised by this action; me or the person I’m walking with…
maybe that’s just my problem though
genuine humility is tricky isn’t it.
as for the noise… i think the good noise should be attributed to god and the bad stuff to my own brokenness and fear… been thinking about it.
awesome. you and me: same page!
hey np! why do you think i’ve spent so much time at your blog recently… kind of a kindred thing. i have wonderful christian community here in bath, but signing up to church is something i’ve not felt able to do for a while now. i find my challenge in a couple of informal pub meets and the great friends i have… often inspiring… but your blog and it’s wonderful people have quickly become something of an oasis.
caroline above has a beautiful, peaceful and honest blog, i go there from time to time… you get a real sense of where she’s coming from… very different from me in many ways, but somehow the same… and it feels like a healthy place to hang out.
thanks for the encouragement bro!
