another sad but true cartoon.
I find your cartoon interesting and intriguing, but I have one question. Do you have anything positive to say about the gathering of God’s flock. All I saw was satire and cynicism. If that is how you feel, that’s fine, I’ve been there myself. But do you see any merit in church at all?
yes, indeed i do. this site and these cartoons are not ‘me’, they’re just a part of me and what i think.
this site is not having a go at relationship, it is mostly having a pop at how our church institutions behave. if you want a fuller picture of me, visit some of the links down the side.
love god, love your neighbour… any thing that stands in the way of that is likely to be in for a roasting on this site! our ‘golden calves’, things of that nature.
it is the job of the satyrist to point stuff out and that’s what i try to do… just like it’s a postmans job to deliver letters.
hope one or two cartoons held something of value for you… we really do need to laugh at ourselves and we also need to be self critical. hopefully these musings add a little something to the very much more complex overall picture.
