  1. In the interest of full disclosure, I love your stuff and use it all the time on my blog (always giving you credit of course). I have had many people tell me that they are big fans of your art and humor/satire because of seeing it on my blog. Thanks for sharing your wonderful personality and talents with us. You not only put into words what I feel, but also put it into pictures and allow me to laugh at the stuff that drives me nuts, and ponder the depth of your wisdom at the same time!

please email me and let me know if you have a problem with me replicating your art. I usually put it together thematically to illustrate or introduce a topic I want to rant/commentate on. Then sometimes, I just put it out there and let it speak for itself!

This one in particular is a great example. I was asked recently when I was “asked to resign” from a church after an inquisition was held on my theology, by beliefs about Satan. I responded that I saw people using him as an excuse for their behavior so I refused to use language like what you have displayed so that I take responsibility for my own actions. I will probably blog on the topic (it is in my backlog of topics) now that I have this illustration to connect with people where my words cannot! Thank you again for sharing!

  2. justin… thank you for this. i am sorry to hear that your beliefs on satan have caused you such personal trial… i always thought belief in god was the more important issue. a definitive doctrine on satan has eluded the greatest brains and the bible is scant on information. it is good to know your leaders are blessed with certainty on this topic. i would have thought one thing the bible is clear on is that satan is not omnipresent… so how he can be attacking everyone at once is beyond me.
your story reminds me of why it is i do this blog. i hope that the dry humour isn’t just a negative thing but an empathy and encouragement for people such as you and i.
there is enough crap in my life and the life of others to deal with without the constant nonsense we are often sold from the pulpit adding insult to injury.
i love people and i hate to see them tied up in knots, controlled or reduced in any way. that is why i do this blog.
you are welcome to use anything on this blog for free, as is anyone. i am working out putting a paypal link for donations on the site… but, and i stress, but this is only to be used by people who can genuinely afford to contribute and what they give or don’t is completely up to them. this site will always provide stuff for free. so use, use, use!
    thank you for sharing!
    j :-)

ps. i’m up very late… my wife is away and i hate it when she’s away… can’t sleep. you gave me something to do! cheers!

just to add my voice to Justin’s. ASBOjesus is now a regular for my sanity and I often put your cartoons on my blog, this one is definitely going up, I love it. it takes some seriously dodgy theology to make me feel sorry for the flack that satan gets, most of which, imho, is our own darn fault.

ooh was that a mini-rant, sorry.
