happy christmas one and all. i hope it was an ASBOlutely great time for you all.
as for me, it was one spent in the company of aching bones, sore skin and contending with erratic and polarised body temperatures as i fought and lost to some nasty little flu virus thingy, with no appetite and trashy christmas tv for company. clares christmas was mostly spent at the hospital ward where a prominent and well loved family member is parked for the time being… so we didn’t see each other much. but, are we down-hearted? nah!… well, not entirely. ![]()
a couple of magnificent friends showed their magnificense (not for the first time) by being wonderfully generous and fuss free… putting clare and her mum on their christmas dinner guest list so all they had to worry about was hospitall visits… now that IS the spirit of christmas!!! big thanks d and d!
on the road to recovery now and cartooning will begin again very shortly.
Welcome to ASBO Jesus
Enjoy your stay and have your say! Cheers, JonBlogroll

Jon…You were missed Christmas eve

Glad you’re feeling a bit better
Big Hugs!
L&S
thanks… yeh… really didn’t go to plan at all, did it!?
clare really enjoyed the evening.
much love mate. x
Best laid plans, eh? Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. Always seems to happen at Christmas, doesn’t it? Next time I have a natter with my creator, I’ll remember to mention your family health concerns. Try to get a good rest (there’s no better medicine).
Speedy recovery, friend.
all the best Jon and Clare, and folks. thats a lot to contend with
Hope you’re feeling better soon Jon – hate being sick when everyone else is celebrating… Get well soon!
makes for a lousy holiday having to spend it at a hospital…and i work at one! hope you are on the mend and things are better for you guys. keeping you in my thoughts.
aaah, yer a lovely bunch! i should post my sob stories more often… could easily get too used to this wonderful sympathy!
Just discovered these cartoons recently – and sorry to hear you’ve been having a bit of a time of it, over Christmas. Hope you’re all back on form as soon as possible. And thanks for the challenging (and funny – that’s important) cartoons.
I put a few of them on the church website too… hopefully they won’t scare the congregation too much
Keep up the good work!
thanks paul… i’m a bit brighter now.
nothing like a good scare to help the christmas dinner down! hopefully you’ll get some good conversation out of the cartoons you use. cheers.
Jon!
Well, …take it easy mate.
See you soon.
My love’s with you.
Sas x
You Guys,
Want to pass this on- it’s about Fairtrade and not looking down at Africans.
See what you think.
Sas x
thanks,sas.
that video has provoked a cartoon or two i think i may have to render.
Hey, Jon – sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. Praying for you, and glad to hear you’re on the mend.
While you’re recovering, if you want a good read, Santa Claus has been blogging a bit.
He’s been a bit under the weather himself this week.

Hi Jon–Have never written but thoroughly enjoy your posts. My family has been fighting probably exactly the same virus–canceled our Christmas travel plans. Take care, eat some chicken soup if you have the appetite for it, get LOTS of rest.
Mom2twoboys
hope you all get better soon man
Grace & Peace
hope things are picking up,
they are.
thanks for the kind words people.
mom2twoboys is absolutely right regarding chicken soup and its medicinal virtues. thanks!
Hope you get well soon. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and yours!
