Yeh! another conspiracy theory starts tp form :-)

  4. Ben says:

I like the idea behind this, however in most courts in England, there aren’t any policeman inside the courtroom (excepting of course when they’re giving evidence)

  5. Ros says:

Thanks John. However did you guess I support Arsenal? Anything to do with the email address.

  6. jonbirch says:

yep, ros. indeed. as you know, when it’s your blog you get email addresses. as a fellow gooner, you are extra welcome to asbo jesus. :-)

  7. miriworm says:

sadly it’s so hard for us to show a little solidarity, all I need sometimes is for someone to be able to hear instead of jump in with a judgement

    – anyone a fan of ‘The Prophetic Imagination’ by Walter Brueggemann. I love the way he describes ‘the empire’

i’ve waited long and hard for someone to tell me exactly what it is that we are supposed to be Doing With/ how we are supposed to be Responding To people who are…what do you call it?…Oh yes, evil, hideously depraved and monsters of the worst kind.

I mean, what happens when that person ( obviously awful) turns out to be our sister/ brother/mother/father/daughter/son/friend/loverwife/husband?

    What then?

words are so easy to trip off our tongues

I LIKE this cartoon, i like it because delivers a response

    and makes even me think

  10. Mike says:

    A timely word.

  11. Xenobio says:

I don’t entirely agree with the sentiment behind this one. In some countries, judges who dare to do justice are targeted for assassination by organised crime groups or even corrupt government officials…you could hardly say their protection isn’t justified.
