  5. Rob says:

i had this very conversation with someone yesterday – very frustrating … but I am taking this as a challenge to me today … how can I ensure that that is not me

  6. sunil says:

At least he’s honest and talking to Jesus. Most of us just make Jesus into our image without even asking!

  7. Graham says:

‘Jesus, I take authority over you- give me victory in every area of my life’- ooops I just changed him into my own desire for power, control and order….

  8. Forrest says:

sunil has got a good point!

  9. greaser says:

  10. Robin says:

Nice one. Although in any relationship isn’t change inevitable….? You could say that the reason why god has let life continue for as long as it has is because he enjoys being changed by his creation :)

  11. Kim says:

I love Robin’s point about God’s vulnerability in the aftermath of creation, but i think the point of the cartoon is so true – many people don’t want to see the radical nature of discipleship, they (we) often just want it to deliver what it is we want, when we want it and how we like it. I tried to have this conversation on Monday with someone and we just couldn’t make any headway. Luckily we have to love our enemies

  12. subo says:

is there a speck & plank thing happening?

  13. Ogg says:

    2 Timothy 3:1
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.

  14. Robin says:

Hey Ogg, have you been spying on me?

  15. Pat says:

Great cartoon Jon …..challenging on a number of different levels (bother you  )
