Nice one. Although in any relationship isn’t change inevitable….? You could say that the reason why god has let life continue for as long as it has is because he enjoys being changed by his creation
I love Robin’s point about God’s vulnerability in the aftermath of creation, but i think the point of the cartoon is so true – many people don’t want to see the radical nature of discipleship, they (we) often just want it to deliver what it is we want, when we want it and how we like it. I tried to have this conversation on Monday with someone and we just couldn’t make any headway. Luckily we have to love our enemies
