Ha! Truth on many levels — must be ASBO Jesus!
Extra funny, if that’s the right word, because reading our diocesan newsletter on the weekend I noted a parish’s article celebrating a significant anniversary of its existence…and was struck (and saddened) that it was all about their building, maintenance of which apparently represents the sum total of that congregation’s Christian mission and impact on their community.
The people seem to be BIGGER than the church, at any rate …
